The JB Hi-Fi Buying Team in Partnership with V Net facilitated the management of our inventory during the current volatility associated with COVID-19. The V Net crew drove the system to accommodate the multiple "what if scenarios required to resolve our daily inventory adjustments during a time of significant change that we needed to make, allowing us to continue supporting our customers, who had to make rapid adjustments to their lives associated with working and educating from home.
Over the last 2 years Target and V Net have expanded on our partnership continuing to build on the strong relationship within the books category. Continuing to leverage the spirit of collaboration across suppliers, Target and V Net, leveraging the V Net system to improve store by product allocations and to partner with V Net to solve business problems and innovation. We are very excited to continue this journey both for locally replenishment and overseas orders as well as expanding across categories from traditional areas like home and toys to apparel, footwear and accessories.
In order to improve our service levels to the consumer, the pharmaceutical industry must transform its supply chain. Arrotex envisage V Net as integral in helping facilitate this transformational change. Phase 1 of the program was to introduce V Net’s automated replenishment platform for dispensary and over the counter drugs. The results have seen an operational shift from the pharmacist monitoring stock levels, shifting focus on servicing the customer.
We traded through the Christmas period
with unprecedented operational efficiencies in managing our stock flow through this high-
volume trading period. The introduction of V Net across our entire suite of products contributed
significantly to JB Hi-Fi hitting our very ambitious in-stock position, stock turn and weeks cover
targets. The financial outcome being a contribution by V Net in helping achieve our sales and
working capital targets.
The V Net Service model has allowed Big W to react quickly and efficiently to an ever-changing market. Whether the challenge is to optimize sales and inventory while reducing SKU count; or expand quickly into a new market segment, the flexibility within the V Net model and their service provision has been of paramount importance to our success
